TOTAL NUMBER OF VISITORS
Three thousand two hundred and eighty six (3286) visitors arrived in Seychelles during the week ending Sunday 01st August 2010. This brought the total for the last four weeks to 13109 visitors, which was 8% above the 2009 level. The average figure for the last four weeks was 9% above the
average for the same period of the last five years.

The year to date figure for 2010 shows that 99756 visitors arrived in Seychelles. This figure was 12% above the 2009 figure (88873). The year to date figure was 19% above the average for the same period of the last five years.
Increases were recorded above the 2009 level in visitor arrivals from Europe (7%), Africa (27%), Asia (57%) and Oceania (26%) while America decreased by 10%.
