Anse Aux Pins bridge reopens for light vehicles
The Anse Aux Pins bridge that collapsed on Wednesday has been reopened after temporary repairs as a single lane, but will only take vehicles of up to 10 tonnes.

Gerard Hoareau, who heads the Seychelles Land Transport Agency, said this yesterday and urged drivers of heavier vehicles to use the La Misère road. The agency took the decision in collaboration with the transport commissioner, he added.
“The restriction takes effect immediately,” he said but added that it does not apply to public buses and emergency vehicles.
