TOTAL NUMBER OF VISITORS
Two thousand eight hundred and thirty three (2833) visitors arrived in Seychelles during the week ending Sunday 31st January 2010. This brought the total for the last four weeks to 10896 visitors, which was 20% above the 2009 level. The average figure for the last four weeks was 15% above the average for the same period of the last five years.
VISITOR ARRIVALS BY COUNTRY OF RESIDENCE
During the last four weeks the number of visitors on holiday was 10% above the 2009 level. The number of visitors on business or combining business with a holiday was 27% above the 2009 level and the number in transit was 81% below the 2009 level.
