Will the new fleet of police vehicle end up in the scrap yard too?

The Police Force recently took delivery of a brand new fleet of vehicles to back up its operations around the country. In the past, the Police Force has had to hire extensively from private car hire firms. This week news reached Le Nouveau Seychelles Weekly that some of the new vehicles have already been involved in accidents and is off the road. We took a visit to Island Motors where the current cemetery for police vehicles is, with the intention to bring you, our readers, photographs showing the current waste within the Police Force.

The above pictures features more than twenty vehicles condemned to rust away. Your money is rusting away uselessly. We were not granted permission to photograph inside the workshop where it is suspected the new vehicles are, but the pictures above gives a good indication of how many resources has gone to waste in the past. We are all hoping that the new Commissioner of Police, Gerard Waye-Hive will take heed of this situation and put a stop to these wasteful exercises within the Force.
