Musicians and fans to revive spirit of 60s and 70s
Aconcert that will bring back sweet memories of the 60s and 70s through a variety of popular songs will take place this Saturday June 20th at the International Conference Centre (ICCS).

Organised by the ‘Choral & Music of Seychelles’ the show will feature local amateur artistes who were active in those times. The list includes Pat Nanty, Radley Weber, Norman Lucas and Serge Robert, joined by those from a younger generation such as David Andre, Joe Samy, Derek Savy and Octavie Prosper.
The repertoire of songs chosen for that special evening will be from internationally acclaimed artistes and groups such as Neil Diamond, Bob Dylan, Credence Clearwater Revival, Beatles, along with some local hits.
The two-hour show is expected to start at 7.30 pm and tickets cost R100. They are presently on sale at Alliance Française, Dockland Supermarket, Cave à Vins at Premier Building and from members of the Choral & Music Society.
According to David Andre, who is one of the key organizers and a performer on that night, this is the second time that such a show is held after the first one proved a major success.
That is the reason for the enthusiasm from both the musicians and members of the public. The show aims to help people shake away the difficulties of life and reminisce in songs that will make them remember the good old times.
