Musicians celebrate their day
Several activities were put up last Sunday by local musicians to mark Music Day.
A group of guitarists (professionals and amateurs alike) met in a workshop-cum-performance at the Alliance Francaise headquarters (photo above) while various groups performed outside the Carrefour des Arts gallery (photo below).
The first was an initiative of classical guitar virtuoso David Andre, in collaboration with the Alliance Française, whereas the other activity was hosted by the National Arts Council in collaboration with La Ou La café.
Both activities were well attended and the organisers have expressed their satisfaction with the turn-out.
